Scholarship Sponsor (multiple scholarships @ investment of $3,000 per scholarship)
The IPMEN’08 conference committee aim to make 10 full conference scholarships available to delegates from low income Pacific nations (World Bank ranking) and to other small island nations and territories in the Pacific. These scholarships would be in the order of A$3,000 and would cover conference registration, accommodation and (direct) travel to Townsville.
Funds for additional, specifically targeted, scholarships for worthy educators in any situation (developed as well as developing nations) could also be negotiated between the IPMEN’08 conference committee and potential delegate sponsors.
The IPMEN’08 conference committee is therefore seeking either individual scholarship sponsors (targeted or untargeted) or a multiple scholarship sponsor (a sponsor for more than one scholarship).

- Your sponsorship to be acknowledged in all IPMEN’08 media releases, advertising and promotional material (acknowledgement could be linked to a specific delegate).
- Your logo, organisational overview and direct web link displayed on the IPMEN’08 website.
- Your logo displayed on all IPMEN’08 printed materials (pre-during-post conference) and conference proceedings (to be produced as a CD).
- Opportunity to display a small organisational banner in main conference meeting room throughout the conference.
- The possibility of exhibit space in the exhibit area at conference venue allowing the opportunity to provide displays of your products / services (to be negotiated).
- Acknowledgement at the official conference opening and closing sessions (linked to a specific delegate if appropriate).
- The opportunity to place inserts into delegate satchels.
- Invaluable networking opportunity with 100 of the Pacific’s leading marine environmental educators and some of the world’s leading marine identities.
Benefits (multiple scholarship):
As above plus:
- One full delegate registration to the IPMEN’08 conference for every 4 scholarships sponsored.
- The opportunity to provide a speaker at the official conference closing session for a multiple scholarship sponsor.
