Terms and Conditions

The IPMEN conference committee hopes that the sponsors and supporters would share our vision for the conference and commitment to this educational effort and see themselves as a partner in support of the conference goal, objectives and outcomes.

1. The IPMEN’08 conference committee reserves the right to amend specific sponsorship packages to benefit the sponsor, conference and delegates.

2. Sponsors and supporters will be accepted based on their ability to meet conference requirements. The IPMEN’08 conference committee reserves the right to review all display and insert materials provided by a sponsor and/or, with discretion, refuse any application.

3. In accepting a sponsorship, the IPMEN’08 conference committee will not endorse, or give the impression of endorsing, the actions or products of a sponsor or supporter. The IPMEN’08 conference committee reserves the right to remain autonomous from any sponsor.

4. Unless otherwise specified, sponsors or supporters will not have an opportunity to present verbally to conference delegates as a group nor influence any aspect of conference content. Sponsors will not have the ability to undertake direct fundraising or merchandising.

5. All sponsors and supporters must comply with the principles that their sponsorship must:

• withstand professional and public scrutiny; and,
• conform to professional and community standards of ethics and good taste.

6. Sponsorship will be confirmed on receipt of a signed application form. Upon receipt of this form the conference organiser will issue a tax invoice for all cash sponsorship with acknowledgement only being given on the receipt of full payment.

7. The IPMEN’08 conference committee reserves the right to vary the quoted prices in accordance with any change to the legislated rate of GST in Australia (currently 10%). All sponsorship packages shown are exclusive of GST. Where applicable (to Australian sponsors) GST will be added to invoices issued by the IPMEN’08 conference organiser.

8. In the event of a cancellation by a sponsor:

• Before June 30, 2008 a refund will be provided for monies paid minus an administration fee of 25% of the total amount of sponsorship for cancellations within one month of application.
• Unless a suitable replacement can be found no refunds of sponsorship monies will be given for cancellations received after June 30, 2008.

9. Sponsorship entitlements will be delivered subject to the sponsors application meeting production timelines.

10. Exhibition stand bookings will only be confirmed on receipt of a specific request.
